Had a great experience with the guys at Cox Mazda. The Mazda 3 appealed more to us than the Honda Civic, definitely had a better stereo. It was Dean the Sales Guy’s first week but he was polite and had good follow up. Zack, the used car buyer made me work a little but gave more money than Honda. We got 0% for 6 yrs, $500 cash back and 3mos deferred. We actually bought two! Thanks Cox Mazda!

We had been to a few local dealerships comparing various hatchback styles. Cox Mazda seemed to be the most informative and helpful. Not to mention the Mazda 3 Hatchback seemed to have more pick-up and go than the other vehicles we had test driven. They were not pushy unlike some of the other dealerships. I had been looking for a nissan frontier for quite sometime. After searching around I finally came across cox mazda in bradenton fl. I live in orlando and knew that if I wanted the vehicle I would have to make a quick trip up there before it was to late. My wife and I stopped by Cox Mazda to see a Miata MX-5 we saw on the dealership website. We were warmly greeted by Dean Clarke upon arrival in the lot. We planned on a quick look so we brought our dog along with us. As it turned out the car was exactly what we were looking for and we decided to purchase it that day. Customer Service is Back!

I worked with Carl for over 6 months to find the right deal/car to upgrade my MX-5 and we finally got the right car at the right price, and they were able to provide an excellent deal and have me in and out of the dealership fast! I was lucky enough to have only 2 miles on the car when I test drove it, and it was never test driven by anyone else. Carl kept in contact with me over the months and has always been straightforward and very knowledgeable about the MX-5s. He spent a lot time working through the deal and continues to check in with me on the vehicle to see if I am happy with my vehicle, the process, etc. What a great experience!

No pressure courteous sales experience

I had a great experience purchasing a new car from Cox Mazda. Honestly i was dreading buying a new car for my wife because of previous experiences at dealerships. What i appreciated most was everyone was helpful but not pushy. Even when i said i needed to compare prices at other dealerships. Carl Carpenter was extremely helpful and when i arrived un-announced i also received friendly non-pushy service from Brett Bowling. We were in the market for a new MX-5. I sent in a request for a quote via the MazdaUSA website around 10:00 PM and received a follow up email from Carl Carpenter within 30 minutes. This was a personalized email and not just a canned auto response. We knew the car we wanted and knew it was on the lot. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. Both my wife and myself test drove the vehicle with Carl. He was very enthusiastic about the Mazda brand and provided great vehicle knowledge. We settled on a price we were happy with. Brand new 2010 mazda 3 fast service and no shady dealers, everything up front with the price. Mr Brinton had many cars in my price range ready for me to see and got my old Honda switched out for a brand new Mazda in less that 4 hours thanks cox for the great experience.

Such a pleasure that we bought two!

I will start out by stating the question my wife asked. “When did buying a car become so enjoyable?” I told her when I went to Cox Mazda on May 29th, 2010, to purchase my Mazda3 S Sport Hatchback and I met Carl Carpenter! My wife asked this question on May 30th, 2010, as we were purchasing the 2nd Mazda3 S Sport Hatchback. Yes, 2 of them!! Wasn’t planned but we enjoyed the first Mazda3 so much that my wife wanted her own. It was an absolute joy to drive back the 94 miles that next day, to meet with Carl again, and complete purchase number 2. Truth is the car sells itself. My first contact with Cox Mazda was an online inquiry and Carl Carpenter emailed me immediately with an online price quote and an invitation to set up a test drive. That was just the beginning. This of course was a major decision for me but Carl’s patience with my many, many questions and complete “here to help” attitude every step of the way was very reassuring. Tim Howard was the salesperson that greeted me, and the whole process was very laid back and he was a professional in all ways. That being said…I was mostly restricted to Internet shopping and after having dealt with dealers who completely stopped communicating with me via email, try to sale me a “similar” car after having sold the one car I was truly interested in, or just completely refusing to give me their best price quote via email (although they were the Internet sales person), Cox Mazda and Carl Carpenter was a breath of fresh air! Within a span of 24hrs (actually less) Carl had given me a very fair price quote, answered the many other questions I had about the vehicle of interest, and had prepared a buyer’s purchase form with all the details included. Here’s the best part…it was his day off! I knew that after having gone through many “frog” dealerships, I … the BEST!!! I had been searching for a car for nearly 6 months! Amazing Experience!‎‎ – Mazda 3

Went from driving a BMW 3 series to my new Mazda 3 and I just love it! It handles just as well as the BMW and at 2/3 of the cost.
